Poetry: Wings

"Flutter"

So near to the ground this hummingbird flew
And by its glittering, honeyed little form,
It was the perfect remedy for wane of enchantment

Its needle-like beak would seemingly, seize nectar from
Hollowed, bowl-shaped, honeysuckle bells
And wings came fluttering; swift in flight yet,
As if a clamor was given power, to their quiver and flutters

My hands clutched to involve praise within

While the color of the skies
Matched the stream of celestial callers
Divinity before me on a stage; elaborate as embroidery

Tonight, blessedness by boons, ground my heart as creative
Deliverance of sort occurs by this contribution
The epitome of angelic alliance revived
Where, certainly expression sets off prayer

And if one listens, pays attention,
The implication highlights companionship
While twilight dons clouds; wears a modest frame
This distant tranquility transforms balance

And as fill of day becomes barren
Yet, hope oversees prolific prune to come
The wings, ahead of time, imposed a conversion
Their stitching of beautification posed outline
Their flutter of down and gossamer, collectively and
With such ease restored labor's intensity

All, while blend of meadow's hues to twilight blues
Brought ecstasy to this hopeful land; a Victory in completion
is found guiding me to, His graceful hand
