My Grass and I
I heard a blade of grass
Whispering in the morning winds
As he and I lay amongst his friends.
And as we lay, we talked of the great mass.
We talked about the dawning days,
We talked about the emerald moisture on the trees, And of the mill ponds, lakes and seven seas.
We talked about the glow of the golden rays,
We talked about the beauty of a colorful spring, And about the heat of the scorching summer sun.
We talked about the kaleidoscopic autumn,
We talked about the bone chilling cold winter brings.
And we talked about animals, large and small.
We talked about other plants, tiny and tall.
We could have talked all day long
That blade of grass and I,
Bu t I had errands to carry on,
And he had company to keep.

among lovely scented human flowers
glowing with divine essence,
they revel in self-awareness.

My Grass and I
I heard a blade of grass

As he and I lay amongst his friends.
And as we lay,
I stare into a lake of glass
an ocean of stars I wish would last
Dreams of drifting to new worlds
I enter the water as it begins
