If you are thinking about the religion I think none of the religion advice you to be the harsh and cruel to any of the creature of God. As I am Muslim so I understand my religion more than the other religions. Islam means "peace" and peace is what the whole humanity demands, so I hundred percent agreed that second name of Islam is humanism and vice versa.

Well I can explain you with some of the Islamic orders which show you that how an Islam relates to the humanism. According to the Islam and its written in Sahih Hadih that "the one can't be a Muslim until the other Muslim will not be saved by his tongue and hands". So you have to save the others by your tongue and hands. The most kind and merciful era was that when our last prophet Muhammad(p.b.u.h) won Makah and forgive all the non Muslims who did not fight against Muslims. So at that time ninety percent of non Muslims becomes Muslim, this is humanism, and this is Islam. Never fight any body until other tries to fight with you and above all to forgive someone is to leave you reward on Allah.

Everybody try to make the difference in your own self, it will create the social difference. The order of Zakkat is one of the orders to Muslims by Allah for the sake of humanity. All the Muslims which are rich as per some statistic has to give to some of their to other which are poor. This system makes the world equal. The biggest pillar of Islam "Hajj" could not be completed until you have to cut an animal by the name Allah and has to do three portions, one portion is our own, and second one is for the relatives and third one are poor. That what the humanism is?

In Islam you have to take care of you neighbors, weather they are Muslims or non Muslims, there is no distinguish of cast, nationality and religion. Life is even for everyone. Well service the humanity is the cause of religion. Muslims has to pray five times a day which is the best exercise and the research prove that you discharge electrode when you put your head on floor, this also cancel the proud from the man, and the combine prayers take the away the concept of discrimination of rich and poor, white and black, normal and handicaps. All are equal, this systems never breaks any body heart.

In my views the another name of humanism is Islam, this is the only religion which divides equal rights to every human, in Islam the heaven is not only for rich or not only for poor but the heaven is those who fulfill their duties according to the Islam, and as I mention in my first paragraph that Islam is the peace for everybody.

Don't consider that as I am Muslim so I am writing in favor of Islam but that true that religion is the preaching of humanism. Not only Islam but I think all the religions ask you to gentle and kind with humanity and you should do that because the heaven is waiting for us as a reward of our good deeds for humanity.
