By God's words the universe was created. When God speaks he watches over his word to see that it accomplishes its purpose (Isa 55:11) God has given us his word and continues to guide us and teach us the right way to live. Even when we mess up he is there to help us get back on track.

The Bible is the foundation of our source of information. It provides us with knowledge of who God is, his character, how he created the universe, how we were formed, our history- where we came from. It tells us our past, our present and our future!

God's word leads us. When we don't know what to do we can look at God's word for knowledge, understanding, wisdom and guidance.

Psalm 119:101 "I have kept my feet from every evil path so that I might obey your word. I have not departed from your laws, for you yourself have taught me. How sweet are your words to my taste, sweeter than honey to my mouth."

Psalm 119:105 says Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.'

From this scripture we can see that the Word' is vital to staying on the right path. If you were travelling down a dark road and got lost because you could not see where you were going, you would probably appreciate some light so that you could find your way. The word of God is that light. When the world is dark and evil is rampant, right seems wrong and wrong seems right, God's word sheds light reminding us this is the way to go..' And even though the world may have changed and will continue to change this is still the way to live, treat each other, love

Jesus said heaven and earth will pass away but my words will never pass away.'
Just because everyone else is double crossing everyone else, Jesus said to love and forgive. His light in a dark world leads the way to success. Even when you don't feel like it, God knows the beginning from the end and he said what he said for a reason.

Jesus said Bless those who curse you.' Now I thought about this a lot and if someone curses you or says something bad about you probably the last thing that you want to do is to bless them. But I do believe that when we do things God's way something supernatural happens.

Can you imagine if you get into an argument and the other person is just going on and on getting more aggressive with every word and you're the same? Nothing is resolved in fact things just get worse and in these times people even loose their lives over less. But imagine again the same situation but this time you take a breath, smile and say something nice. You could easily
