Burning desires grow
yet no match for quivering aches
the world around ignorantly blind
while desperately trying to show
the openess of one's heart

bleeding rivers echoing into the night
moments by moments turning with frail
whispering lonely thoughts come softly like gentle rain
one set of footsteps along the trail
clutching to the empty space beyond.
