Does the Atkins Diet really work?

The Atkins diet will work for you. I know from personal experience. With the Atkins Diet you have to stick with the plan. Make sure you follow all the steps. I did not even have to buy the books. Others told me exactly what to do and I am here to share it with you.

1. In the first week you will eliminate all carbs. Thats rice, potatoes, any sugars, bread, and pasta. You can eat all the meats you want like sausage, eggs, bacon, steak, beef, etc.

2. In the second week you need to start add carbs to you diet, but just a little. I would say add about 10-20 carbs. Maybe a dinner roll twice for this week. But keep it to a minimal.

3. In the third week, you can start adding a little more carbs. I would use a variety. If you added rolls last week, try adding vegetables this week or a little rewarding snack like a low carb brownie.

By the first week after you have cut all the carbs you should have atleast lost 2 - 5 pounds. It may take longer for some. If you have not lost a few pounds then I suggest that you do step number one for 2 weeks instead of one.

My first time doing this was before I got pregnant. I lost 20 pounds. My second time doing this was after I had my first child, I lost 60 pounds. Just stick to the routine and walking is a good exercise to lose even more weight.
