My Inspiration
As a practicing Christian, my inspiration comes from a deep belief in God and His Son, Jesus Christ. I have always appreciated and been impressed by the fact that God reached out to us in this way; that He would send a reincarnation of Himself to us in human form to relate to His people in a very personal and direct way. That we have been promised Jesus Christ will re-visit us with a second coming only adds to my sense of hope and inspiration.
Inspiration is only one of the many things which faith in Jesus Christ fosters within me. I have already mentioned hope, but there are others as well. Confidence, trust and love are three that come immediately to mind. Faith in God and Jesus allow me to claim a joy and peaceful state of mind and relate to other people with these attitudes as well. Inspiration and the other afore-mentioned Christian principles are wonderful by products of deep faith in God.
Having the love of Christ within me means literally everything. There are a number of favorite verses in the Bible which strengthen and inspire. Look up Hebrews 4:14-16, Romans 8:38-39 and Gospel of John 15:12. I have taught classes and delivered sermons based upon these scriptures. For me they hold reassurance for today and hope for tomorrow. How could I possibly hope to be more blessed and enjoy greater inspiration than when I ponder these writings?
If you are a person without hope, with no purpose in life and nothing to inspire you, I invite you to share in the joy I do. Accept God into your life and live in victory, for the God I worship is full of pity and compassion and eager to give you a second chance in life. Those who cannot or will not accept God into their lives are often miserable, not because they are evil or bad, but because they feel that they are navigating through this dangerous and frightening world alone.
This need not be the case. Find God and the love, joy and inspiration that faith in him places within you.
