We won't prove that God exists, He will.
Is it possible that God has made it His intention not to leave His fingerprints or footprints in His path so science cannot discover Him? There are hints all around us that there might be a God. It seems that some things can only be explained in terms of "God did it." So the argument will go on forever. Is there a God or not? Can you prove God exists? Can you prove He does not exist? The answer I will offer will not end the questions. This answer will, however, reveal a lot about the God who we cannot prove.
Is God at work in the universe?
Is there some design in the universe? Is it there by chance? What makes it all move with order, or is it just random movement? Did God put it all in place and does He hold it in place? With all of the exactness in the movement, temperatures, and gravity pull, is there be an intelligent controlling factor involved? If there is a God involved, why is there no scientific proof? Why is it that we cannot prove what is in control? It is my contention that science will never be able to answer these question with facts. As a matter of fact, neither will religion. I believe I will be able to tell you where answers are found by the end of this article.
Did God create anything?
The Bible says God created everything. Science has absolutely no evidence that proved God did any such thing. For some reason, if God did create everything, He must have made it a deliberate point not to leave any fingerprints that would scientifically prove Him. He certainly could have made it easy to figure out if He wanted us to. When He created man it was not done in the same way that He created the rest of the world. He made it very personal, and even made man and woman separately. He breathed into them life. Surely He could have left some measurable evidence of who He is in that act of creation. He didn't leave scientific proof. Nor is there scientific proof that He did not create all of this.
Was it really God?
The story of the life of Moses is full of examples of the presence of God. The plagues that are said to have come upon Pharoah and Egypt were powerful. The separation of the body of water and then drowning of Pharoah's army in that same body of water were certainly powerful movements of nature, yet no footprints of God are there. The Ten Commandments, carved out in stone by God Himself, yet where are they now? Where is the Ark of the Covenant? Pillars of fire, manna given daily to the people by God Himself, water
