Love or Lack Thereof.
I've loved.....
and been loved.
I've lost love.....
and I've had to let go.
I've loved unconditionally.....
and I've convinced myself of love that didn't really exist.
I've sacrificed because of love.
I've given in because of love.
I've let others down for the one I've loved.
and put myself aside for the one I've loved.
I am loved and I do love,
but I am not loved the way I would love to be loved.
I want love that is wholesome,
love that is true,
love that is honest,
to be loved through and through.
To feel a love that breeds unity,
and a love pure and sweet
love that can conquer
a love that can defeat.
I've learned love can be poison,
and love can be pain,
But love can be healing,
Love can drive one insane.
Love can be destructive,
Love can conquer all,
Love can empower us,
Love can make us fall!
The power of love is it's very own weakness.

You can't stop me with those walls
you have built around your heart
I won't be left on the outside
We will not be
A GIFT OF WISDOM
One of my richest gifts in life
Came from a little boy in the park.
He came up as I sat on a bench
And said,
by well
Throw stones at the glass
watch the pieces scatter
The troubled heart will come to pass,
until then, it doesn't matter
Throw
