The Bible is historically the book that inspired mass education, is the book that even unbelievers swear upon in court, and is the basis of the lives of many people, both religious and non religious. It is a book that is said to be the very word of God breathed into text. Even many people who dont believe, practice these teachings in their lives, simply because they have faith that this book, though it is questioned, represents a kind of goodness and purity that can bring happiness to their lives. Millions of believers world-wide use this book to guide their lives, seeing that this is the only tangible piece of God that we have on Earth. Yet people ask, even those who abide by biblical teachings ask, can this book that is God - breathed, but written by human hands be trusted.

Many different kinds of men from many different backgrounds experienced God-inspired words forming on parchment before them. These men were not men who were necessarily righteous or men who came from ancestrally religious families, many of these men would be frowned upon in today's church. Among the writers are murderers, bigots, liars, thiefs, amd womanizers. There are women of God who were forced into ungodly situations, ungodly woman who found God in the midst of ungodly things. There are men who folleowed God with everything, and were distracted by a woman, men who wanted nothing to do with God and found Him anyway. These all sound like normal individuals, though I think we all hope they dont form a picture of the majority. God was able to use these people, to impress thoughts and deep philosophies to the ignorant, the ungifted, and the forgettable.
So, is the Bible trustworthy? It depends on the power you beleive God holds. If you think that man has the power to tarnish what God wished to be Holy, than no. If though, you believe as I do, God, being all powerful, would prepare for such fallibilities in His chosen. I believe the Bible is trustowrthy, I beleive God chose to use unrighteous individuals to bring Hid holy truth to the entire world.
