My mom gave me the recipe for this odd, easy to make, but delicious Pearl Cake a couple of years ago. It has sold really well at bake sales, but its also a nice treat to keep in the fridge for your family. Enjoy!
What You Need For The Cake:
1 box of supreme white cake mix, and all ingredients to make it
1 small pack of Jello (I recommend raspberry)
3/4 up of boiling water
1/2 cup of cold water
What You Need For The Frosting:
1 package of 4 serving size Jello pudding (I recommend lemon)
1/4 cup of confectionery sugar
1 cup of cold milk
8 0z of Cool Whip
Cake:
Mix white cake mix and bake as directed on package
Mix Jello with boiling water, then mix with cold water. Let sit.
After cake has cooled for about 20 minutes use a for to poke holes all over cake. Pour Jello over top. After cake has completely cooled frost with frosting as follows:
Frosting:
Combine pudding mix, sugar, and milk in small bowl, Beat with egg beaters on lowest speed until well blended. Fold in Cool Whip, spread on cake.
Remember you must refrigerate this cake, because of the Cool Whip in the frosting, and because it tastes better served cold. I hope you enjoy this cake as much as I always do. Happy Baking!
