August 08, 2008 evening, I watched Beijing Olympic Opening Ceremony 2008, a simply stunning, glorious, nearly perfect showcase that declares to the whole world "A new era of Chinese history has started."

After months and years preparation, Director ZhangYimou didn't let Chinese and the world world down. It was indeed a wonderful presentation in which combined with 5000 years long history of China to modern development in technology, economic and educational achievement, by a unique traditional yet charming ways to open Olympic Game 2008.

The first scene was the 2008 drummer beating drums with an overwhelming strength and power. It followed by the gigantic foot print which were welcomed the counting of opening ceremony. From the Great Wall of China, to art of Taiji; from Silk Road to the way to the universe, from Beijing Opera to the art of Chinese painting.It was beyond one's imagination that China has such a rich and glorious history and culture.

The opening ceremony also filled with many touching moments:

When YaoMing, one of most famous Chinese athletes, holding Chinese National flag, led more than 600 Chinese team into the Bird Nest stadium, along him was a little boy. He was one of survivals from Sichuan earthquake in May, 2008. What a wonderful gesture! That shows that nothing can crush China and Chinese people, that also signifies that there will never want of successors in China.

When eight retired athletes, including some of in their 70, held the Olympic flag, marched to the flag post stately. It reminded us that China's today was rest on these past heroes.

When the president of IPC Jacques Rogge gave the opening speech, at every interval of his sentence, the Chinese audience gave him worm rounds of applause. His words were also touching:

"China had dreamed that one day they will open the world welcome the Olympic Games.Today their dream came true. Beijing has shown to the world that China has kept all its promise and to make this Olympic Game successful.

May Olympic bring China joy, peace and hope."

The most touching part was the last part of Olympic Torch Rally, after an eventful journey, the Olympic Torch finally reached to Beijing in Bird Nest Stadium, the last batch of athletes were those of my time. Diving Queen Gao Min, Head of Chinese Volley Ball Team Sun Jing Fun and .....the Gymnastic Prince, also a Dream Prince for many of us -Li Ning.

When he leaped into the air, carried by the clouds of auspicious, running toward the Olympic Torch, behind him, thousands of them who carried, cared, protected and defected Olympic Torch, my tears could not help but running. At that moment, I wanted to shout from the bottom of my heart:

China, I proud of you!
