The most common drug, enjoyed by many,
believed to be the key to plenty.
One cup only serves to make me see
that more is needed to set me free.
The second cup down, mind starts to wake
with a third, hands begin to shake
quieted by the fourth. Now I am ready,
Hands, eyes, mind, all sharp and steady.
This feeling is only fleeting though,
but the words begin at last to flow,
before I am beset by the final woe
I have no money for another cup of joe.
