It's pretty easy to call up any one of a hundred or so pornography sites simply by putting the right word in your search engine. The word does not even have to be a swear word; it could be something as innocuous as baby doll or sweetie. What do you think comes up when you put in a word like "sex?"

Pornography is all around us today; especially with the Internet growing and spreading so rapidly. Once you get one of the many rampant sites out there to visit your machine you are stuck with it. I have no idea what they do or how they do it but they have tricks of all kinds up their sleeves. I have had to re boot my machine just to get rid of some of the more pesky ones.

I don't really even have a problem with pornography. I look at it as something very natural and very exciting at times. I can take it or leave it. Some times I would like to sit and look at a dozen beautiful naked women and other times I don't want to. I have never found myself wanting to watch two men together but have been enthralled by two women.

I can't see anything that is really hurting me. My outlook on life and sex doesn't change any, I still want it and I want a lot of it. I don't call it filth or nasty or exploitation of women or men; it is what it is.

For the most part I probably would not want my underage children to view it. I wouldn't even want my high school age kids to sit there and play with it. I don't really know why though. I'm sure everything, or most of it anyway, they see on the screen is already in their mind.

I don't view pornography of any kind as un healthy or damaging. It's all in the way it is viewed. Pornography is what we all dream about. We can watch the things we would really like to be doing ourselves, but don't because we are timid, shy, or just unlucky.

Yet, I think pornography needs to be strongly regulated on the Internet. I don't think they need to change any of the subject matter they currently make available but they need to control that availability. Pornography should never be allowed to exist as a pop-up in any degree. Nobody sitting at their machines should ever have to be interrupted suddenly by dramatic exposing scenes of man and woman.

Those who make pornography available should also not be allowed to do things that would make it difficult to get the site off your screen or to eliminate the material from your memory cards.

People should be allowed to advertise pornography the same as anyone else can advertise but only those who really do want to view it should be exposed to it. You should be able to put words like sex in your search engine and not get deluged immediately with screen after screen of nude photos of people in the middle of all kinds of intimate actions.

A list of available sites could be caused to be exposed then the user select from that list. Just to throw pornography at the user and do things that make it nearly impossible to get rid of it should actually make that a crime, severely punishable.

I believe that should be the extent of the regulation though; not the content but the intent. The content is exciting and interesting to some, we shouldn't try to force our desires upon everyone. The intent should not be allowed to be "force it upon everyone!"
