on 15 falls about 150 yards short of the green, and your tee shot on 12 slices 100 yards more than normal into a canal.

Most guests at the Kiawah Island Resort prefer Osprey point on account of its playability, which makes it even more frustrating when every other shot finds a sand trap or a water hazard. Just because it's the most playable, doesn't mean you shouldn't still hit from the ladies tees, however.
Osprey Point is ranked 10th in the world by Golf For Women Magazine, a very nice tidbit for men trying to convince their wives that a golf vacation in South Carolina will be a lot more fun than a romantic cruise to the Caribbean. Be careful, however, she might enjoy herself too much and outdrive you in a matter of weeks.
Oak Point

Oak Point is a shot maker's course. In other words, you've got no chance of shooting under 150 using the "instead of thinking about my next shot, I'll chug a couple beers between the preceding green and the upcoming tee box" strategy. Oak Point reminds you that thinking while you golf can lower your score.
Beautiful views and visions of the comfortable clubhouse with a full service bar might help snap you out of a club-throwing tantrum after hooking your approach shot into the bunker on hole 5. Stay late enough and you may get a glimpse of that dolphin you almost injured with an errant shot on 18.
