Prayer: The Alternative Medicine a Prescription for Healing

Controversial as it may seem, prayer can move mountains and change things. As far back as over 1500 years ago, around 1450 B.C. (in the time of Moses) the writing of the Bible was first begun, and was written over a period of those 1,500 years to about 100 A.D. (following the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ).

All during this time, prayer was the foundation and solid base of all things. When praying for healing, the mind, body, and spirit joins together to create the perfect atmosphere, creating an environment for a complete and total healing. Most people turn to prayer when faced with unwanted circumstances, illness, and situations. Over the years, there has been scientific evidence that incorporating prayer into a healing ritual does help and works. This evidence shows how spiritually, religion, prayer and physical health connects.
Biblical and religious studies, research, and documents have shown the healing effects of prayer. Regardless of the different medical or technical terms attached to prayer in medicine; (subtle energy fields, spiritual healing) it comes out the same. Documented studies conducted by qualified scientists have proven that people involved in some form of organized religion are healthier and tend to live longer. Numerous articles are now included in medical pamphlets, journals and even the AMA, that substantiates the need and effects of prayer as an alternative medicine. Recent studies and conferences conducted at well-known Duke University Hospital in Durham, N.C. uncovered some very interesting facts, information, and data.
If you are one of many that believe in miracles', rest assured, trust and believe that these miracles' are usually the direct result of prayer. For those that cannot except that these miracles' happen but feel that something you just can't explain' happened, refer to your Bible: Prayer was more than likely the intervening property.
There are numerous incidents and works in the Bible, which shows the use of prayer and the effects and results. Illnesses-cured, the dead-raised, the lame-walked, the deaf- heard and so on, all a result of praying and faith. Moreover, the surprising thing is that Jesus did not do all the healing. We as God's children possess the ability to use healing powers; but first we must believe. The controlling factor behind all healing is believing-faith.
There have been countless articles and reports of unexplainable things' happening.
