For whatever reason, some people decide to move over other country which is not the same where they were raised or even born in. It depends on the causes and circumstances of the environmental change that immigrants have decided to take in order to pursuit whatever they have planned. But most of the time when foreigners settle in a different area, the natives of that area, depending on how psychologically prepared they are, might be able to understand "cultural diffusion" (exchange of different customs, traditions, religions, stereotypes, etc). Tolerant people on one hand, are capable of knowing that just because there are different cultures and sub-races, doesn't necessarily mean they are supposed to stay alienated, because they all come from the same part of the human race that we are,and it is what defines our human intellect and creativity, and we all can be identified as human beings no matter what ethnic or cultural background we have. Cultural identity is something that cannot be taken away from anybody. It is something that evolves from adapting to new environments throughout life, sometimes it stays the same and sometimes constantly changes. The reason why many immigrants face many challenges trying to fit in, is because their cultural identity suffers some sort of rejection or intolerance coming from natives who are afraid of changing and evolving their culture by accepting new ones and treat them with compassion rather than ignorance, arrogance and lack of understanding. This causes a foreign person to feel inferior because of cultural roots and therefore lack of self-esteem. This also forces a person to assume that their own culture is not good, and to pretend to be something they are not in order to fit in a different culture, which causes a chaotic misunderstanding between themselves and the society they have to fit in with.
