Poetry: Distorted

by John Dixon

Created on: August 11, 2008

I find myself the wheel
Droning on this sentence
Revolving like a bullet

In this chorus of lies I finally learn to spin it

It speaks in sudden repair
Before the damage happens
Before the words are spoken

Premature speculation has given birth
To another beetle of low expectations

Yes, he is someone new
New to this world of bitter delight
Someone who will obey your invisible ways

Working on habits
Dealing with strangers
Strangers to this planet

This horrible wheel keeps on turning
