Canada being the second biggest country in the world leaves you with plenty of places to visit. Each province in Canada has cities that are worthy for your visit. Why don't we start with the biggest province, same province where I am currently residing, Ontario Canada.
Cities you cannot miss in Ontario:
1.Toronto
-Toronto is the home of one of the world's architectural wonder, the CN tower. The CN tower is locate in the heart of downtown Toronto. You should not miss the chance to climb it and stand over the glass floors where you can look straight down 1,122 feet away.
-If you are up for shopping, Toronto is the place to be. You can visit the Toronto Eaton Centre in Downtown and check out the boutiques in and out of the mall. Yorkdale mall is also one of the famous shopping centres in Toronto; just take a subway ride to Yorkdale station. Now, now, If you are into signature brands such as Louis Vuitton, Prada, Hermes and Gucci Yorkville area is for you, still located in downtown Toronto around Bloor and Bay area.
-If art and history is your thing, then you should pay a visit to the Royal Ontario Museum located in Bloor Street. It's something you cannot miss due to the unique style of the building. Casa Loma is another place to visit for all you history fans out there.
-If you time your visit to the NBA season, you might be lucky to catch a game of the Toronto Raptors at the Air Canada Centre. If you are a movie fan, you might as well time your visit sometime in September in order to catch your favourite Hollywood stars in Toronto for the annual International Film Festival.
2.Niagara
-If you appreciate nature's wonders you should not at all miss a visit to Niagara Falls, Canada side. Usually you will be lucky enough to see a real rainbow over the rainbow bridge too. If you have a visa, you can go cross-border shopping to Buffalo, New York which is just steps away from Niagara Falls. If you do not have a US visa you could settle for the Canadian side of Niagara and enjoy the different attractions and dining that can be found on Falls View Avenue (best to walk there at night). If you like casinos, Niagara Fallsview casino would be a sure hit for you.
Cities you cannot miss in Alberta
1.Edmonton
-When travelling, shopping can never be crossed out your list of things to do. When you visit Alberta, you should not miss the biggest mall in the world, West Edmonton mall. It's really a one stop shop that might suit your needs. They have an indoor water park and an amusement park inside. They also offer various places for dining whether it's formal or a food court kind of dining.
Cities you cannot miss in Quebec
1.Montreal
-Montreal is the French capital of Canada. It is such a beautiful place to visit. If you go to Montreal you should visit the Montreal Casino. If you like history and religion, you should definitely visit the Notre Dame Basilica. If you are a sports fan you should drop by the Olympic stadium in Montreal. You can even have a cruise in Montreal.
-Not 19 or 21 yet? No worries, if you visit bars in Montreal 18 is the only age you want to be. Learn some French and I can bid you a Bon Voyage in Montreal.
Too many awesome cities too little time. Take your pick and see which cities suits your taste. Canada has a lot to offer for its tourists.
