Often in the course of working on line, the question arises as to whether writers can make a viable income from revenue sharing sites. The concept is a little difficult for people to understand, though, once you do understand, it helps you to maximize the possibility of income. There are many sites which pay writers to write. The misunderstand occurs when members of writing sites don't understand the criteria for the share of money they receive. This article is written from years of experience to try to explain the concept of different online revenue sharing sites, giving an overview of what each of the sites gives back to the writers, without whom there would be no site, in an effort to reward those people who provide valuable content.
Helium.com
Helium awards its writers from the revenue that they obtain for advertising. It's a simple concept to grasp, and once you have written to other sites, you begin to realize that what Helium are offering is actually much more valuable than most sites offer. The income that writers are awarded on an article on Helium is not just for that first week when the article is written. It is for life. What happens is that as you add more and more content, you are likely to get more and more reads from the public, though there are ways to maximize this.
Writing quality articles which are rated to the top of the articles within that subject chosen on Helium gives the writer a better chance at being read. If you think about it, the logic is that raters sort all the articles into piles and if yours ends up near the top, you are much more likely to be read than those articles which sink to the bottom. People on the Internet are looking for informative articles on subjects which they seek out, and by writing good quality articles in good quantities, writers actually get more revenue than on other writing sites.
What many don't understand is that quality and quantity count together and writers often forget this during contest periods, churning out articles which don't get rated highly. The higher articles are rated, the better the revenue. Helium also offer payments for contests, from money shared with writers, in effect sharing their revenue with the writers who give back by writing.
One of the interesting things about Helium is that even on topics which may seem obscure, the pennies keep rolling in and add up quickly, making withdrawal of funds a real possibility. Asking writers to give back a little bit by rating means that writers
