Recent headlines indicate that global warming has distrupted our way of life and may do so in the near future affecting the health of all life on the planet as we know it. How the world population reacts to these problems can be projected as history shows us that things may continue as they are or they can change. Which direction of course and how to change what is not good and replace it with what is will take time,money and resources. Lists of how to build better mouse traps or filling world needs is a prescription we all have on our minds these days. Changing the world weather is a no win proposition,but a noble one at that. Good luck to those who think they can. I've run into few who think they can. What type of health problem and how to solve and deciding to assist or asking if assistance can be rendered is important. Example from Sylvester Stallone movie" Cliffhanger". How long can one hold on to the rope before he can no longer hold onto the rope without letting go ? The global health debate is at the same juncture today. Trade resources and info databases will aid in solving this problem depending on how prepared each unit is willing to accept. In times of crisis nothing else matters except to hold onto the rope. Crisis? Some will say what crisis ? The most important aspect of health is personal health and well being of each and every human being trying to get along with each other. I think that our leaders are looking for this to happen and want it to happen. True colors of individuals come out during these situations and how they react to them will determine the future of dealing with global health issues. Some issues are better left to take care of themselves. The more you get involved with some situations the more problems can happen. This is true with all situations we attempt in life. Maybe the best solution to addresing global health is to let it ride it's course and all will be well. Getting into specifics can sometimes produce more problems than before. Priorities must be sorted out before any decision on how to save global health. So far my best prescription is to sit back, relax and when the time to decide comes,make the issue come alive by being proactive to a cause solving what we know is the right path. Many of our leaders have taken a sit and wait stance at this time. Global needs need to be addressed sooner or later. The time for these needs develop slowy. So slow that we hardly notice them. That's why it is time to start noticing because they do change all the time and keeping up with change is what keeps the wheels of the world running.
