Poetry: Struggle in life

by Forest Grene

Created on: August 10, 2008

Swallows.

Are the swallows dancing while they wait
To tell me something I already know?
A plain and simple message,
sent straight to my travelling spirit.
I would do anything to take the path
they fly me through.
But, they sit on the bough, swaying
in the wind and look at me.

They know I need a song en route.
