Heath Ledger was brilliant in The Dark Knight i am not usually into Batman films and i have not really watched many films that Heath Ledger stars in but the role of the Joker was great i was hooked straight away and thought he did a fantastic job it is such a shame that he passed away at such a young age when he had a great life ahead of him if he was around today i think he would of been very happy with the role and the outcome of the film he was the best actor in the film and i would definitly watch the film again and buy it when it is released on dvd. Watchin The Dark Knight as also made me want to watch other films that Heath Ledger as been in. He was a fantastic actor in The Dark Knight it looked like a hard role to play and he breezed through it with no problems what so ever so i think he deserves to win a Oscar for his fantastic performance in this film. If someone were to say to me who starred in The Dark Knight the only person who would come to my mind straight away would be Heath Ledger playing the Joker, i think everyone should go and watch this film just to see how great Heath Ledger was in the film, it is very sad that the world has lost someone with such a great talant and he will be sadly missed by a lot of people but hopefully his films will still be watched and he will be remembered for the different roles that he as done over his life. I will be disappointed if Heath ledger does not receive a Oscar or even a Oscar nomination for his role in The Dark Knight i think that he really does deserve it and his family and everyone who loves him would be very proud of what he's achieved in such a short life and i also the think the world will miss out on such a talented actor. I think everyone has their views on this article but hope that all of his fans will try their hardest to make sure he gets nominated for the Oscar that he rightly deserves to win, Heath wont get the chance to win another Oscar the other actors in the world will get their chance again so i really hope that Heath Ledger wins the Oscar that he deserves. I really do think that he will win the Oscar because he truly deserves it playing the Joker was the best part of the film Heath made you sit forward in your seats wondering what was going to happen next he did the role justice i have never enjoyed a film as much as enjoyed The Dark Knight and can't wait for it to be released onto DVD.
