As I walk through the rain,
I see your face,
If only for a moment.
Glancing through a window,
Memories of our time together wash over me.
There we are,
Pushing each other in the swing,
Laughing,
Running through the woods,
Singing.
A car horn calls me back,
To the here and now.
I wish you were here,
Laughing with me,
Playing in the rain like in our childhood memories.
I think of you always.
Your face is everywhere I look.
I miss our time together,
How I wish I could come again.
