Poetry: New York City

by Giselle Rivera

Created on: August 09, 2008

The roads have been travled,
discussed,
and
admired.
The structures have been duplicated,
honored
and
preserved.
The demeanor has been scrutinized,
questioned
and
copied.
For the soul of the city
can not be denied.
from the streets to the highest peak,
the soul of the city settles deep.
