The Roads To Life.
All through life you have to make choices. I like to call this the roads to life. Because there are all kinds of roads to choose from yet there is not always a map to give you the right direction.
So many paths, so many roads to choose and where we think they may lead us is not always the destination where we had plan to go.
Where we are going is not always clear. So sometimes it is best not to plan our trip but to go by faith.
Even with faith on our side. We can still lose direction. We are not really lost but somehow we have stumbled off our path.
These are the most crucial times in our life. Times as these that can make us or brake us as the old saying goes. But it all really depends on us. We think life is out of control but it is completely in our control because it is all about choice.
We choose our paths, our roads, and our faith. We choose what to live for and not to live for. We choose what to believe or not believe in. We choose what is important in life and what is not.
We make mistakes because sometimes the fork in the road has too many paths and we do not always know which one is the right one to choose.
Some lead to disaster, some lead to happiness and some are just plain dead ends.
In a parable, life is like a road trip in a car. Some roads we choose can be dangerous but necessary to use to get to where we are going. Others can be bumpy, uncomfortable and other times it can be smooth.
We have taken roads to disasters roads to happiness. But we seek to find the one we were destined to find at birth. The road at the end, the last road we will ever have to take on this earth we have dreamed of it. We have heard of it all our life.
But where is it we ask ourselves? We all get so consumed with worry of not finding it or not being able to receive it. That we somehow over look it and think it is really is not there at all.
Yet it is everywhere, all among us. Look around you. Look to another person. You find it. Better yet look to your enemy it is there also. It is there by what binds us all and makes us one, the spirit of God.
Did you think you were so special so good that you were loved more by God then your enemy? The Lord doses not work that way. He loves the greatest of sinners and when I say this I do not mean the greatest of sinners in terms of just your enemy but you also. We are all sinners. We all will make mistakes takes wrong paths through life.
Learn to love your enemy he is a part of you. Learn to help him.You will be helping your self. You will see your path in life much easier.
