Poetry: Unspoken thoughts

by Miss Mars

Created on: August 08, 2008

want you to know me...

I want you to know I like to take a walk in the woods,

I want you to know I stop and listen to the silence,

the branches speak to me in whispers,

the sky opens it's arms,

the wind touches my hands.

I want you to know me,

I want you to know I feel an actual pain in my heart,

a pain at others suffering,

I can't bear to see it.

I want you to know I like to read a good book,

I like to curl up with chai tea,

on a big overstuffed chair.

I want you to know I like to talk under the stars,

I like to lay out by a lake,

I like to listen to the night sounds,

the forest getting ready to sleep.....

I want you to know I like to kiss,

not just any kiss,

the kind that makes you want to weep,

only because it feels like heaven.

I want you to know me.

I watch you sometimes and I wonder....

What would it be like to know you?
