Constant pressures, negative emotions, life challenges, nervous tension, low self esteem, constant worry and distress may lead to high levels of unhealthy stress and even contribute as high as 80% toward health problems. Exercise on a regular basis may help to relax and alleviate this constant pressure of anxiety, tension and constant worrying by providing a more positive, confident and optimistic outlook on life's challenges. Exercise can assist in relieving some of our nagging aches and pains and provide a more positive platform from which we can make better decisions. Exercise can have a very favourable effect on our everyday living and health.
We can all benefit from exercise. It is suitable for everybody at any stage of their life no matter how young or old, men and women, girls and boys, the fit and athletic to the relatively sedentary and coach potato. Exercise does not exclude any body. We can be tall or short, fat or thin, plain or beautiful. Anybody who would like to change themselves, change their bodies, change their life outlook and their health can get involved with working out and keeping fit.
Exercise can be as simple as a walk in the park, playing ball with friends, swimming at the pool, taking a fitness class or even dancing to a beat. It needs to be done regularly and at a constant pace to be of benefit, but any activity is good for you.
A walk in the park, for instance, will increase the amount of quality oxygen breathed in by your lungs. This oxygen rich air will help invigorate your body. This low impact movement has cardiovascular benefits. The activity will help increase the blood circulation in your body and particularly in your legs as well as tone your muscles and may even assist in a better nights sleep.
Of course it is recommended that if you have not exercised for a long period of time or you may have a health issue to consult your health practitioner. It is best to discuss a fitness routine with someone who has your best interest in mind. They can assist you in finding a suitable fitness or training regime for you that will provide the benefits you are seeking.
