Everyday time-saving solutions

things at once. While making breakfast, get the kids' lunch ready, scrub off the counters, feed the dog, water your household plants, etc. While talking on the phone, do chores around the house, that don't make much noise.

Cook your meals ahead of time. Or you can cook larger meals so that you will have leftovers. This way you don't have to cook every night of the week, or spend time waiting in line for fast food.

Lay out your clothes for the next day and the kids' clothes before you go to bed. Then all major decisions will be made, and you will have everthing ready to wear. While you are at it,
have the kids get their stuff for school ready the night before. Get your work related items ready to go and place near the door.

Have every family member make their beds as soon as they get out of them everyday. That way you don't have to try to make them later or before running out the door for work.

My mother and father in law always pick up the items they just used right away, and put them in their proper place. They have a place for everything and that's where it goes. The mail, once brought in is put in a certain spot in the kitchen. The daily newspaper once read is placed in the recycling bin in the garage.

Save time every day, by organizing your life. That way, you can have more to do other things, like going away for the weekend, or sitting down and relaxing.
