Being happy is an essential to being productive. Although some people are not happy in their estate, and somehow manage to be as productive as possible, there is still much to be desired. The exhuberance that goes with happiness helps one to go at any task with a zest.
As one moves into line for being truly productive, they are engaged in a such a way that what they do, be it art, music, writing, creating, cooking, or any task, likewise brings happy results. Happiness is evidence that a person is contented within themselves, and reaching out to bless others.

Being productive means to give something each day to bless the world. Being productive does not always mean making money, but sometimes that is a by-product. Productivity is the outpouring of delight, joy and satisfaction. How many people like to start a day with goals unaccomplished, and then at the end of the day, see their visual dreams become small or great realities? The completion of a task brings more happiness, and encourages one to swim even further in life's rich sea of accomplishments.

I personally know of a lady. She is a mother who has seizures, however this lady finds great happiness in crocheting blankets and spreads. I have ordered several and each blanket has proven to be a blessing. This hobby brings to her a sense of achievement, and she has the joy of knowing others will use her creations in their homes. She obtains great delight in making the blankets and spreads in any color the customer specifies. The designs are unique and the workmanship superb. This is what reminds me of a woman who is happy in her craft and blessing others. I also met an artist who painted outdoor scenery and animals. His tigers just seemed to jump out and grab you from the canvas. Some of his masterpieces took weeks and months to finish, but once finished, they were one of a kind. The joy of his heart and expertise was reflected in each and every piece. People were willing to pay high prices for his originals.

Have you ever tasted a delicious meal prepared in love? It tastes so good. Most people say it is akin to their mother's cooking. I agree, and I love a meal prepared by a happy person who relishes preparing food to make his/her guests happy. Their happiness is shared and comes through loud and clear when the tempting dishes are served on the table. Sometimes the cook refuses to share the old family recipe, but that's okay. The suspense of what makes it so good goes along with the meal. Really, you just can't wait to consume each course, and all you can say when the meal is over is- "Thank you for the wonderful meal and I'm stuffed!"

Happy people have continuously made a difference in this world. They are the creators of great literature, great art, great music, and so many wonderful things which bless us. Their contributions might well be termed, "the spices of life." Any person who literally throws their heart and soul into whatever they do with "joie de vivre" can't help but to be a happy, productive person giving the gift of themselves in their accomplishments.
