The Bible makes a lot of promises that seeking hearts should consider and meditate upon. The Bible claims to be the inspired word of God and it was written to humankind. At first glance, it is easy to try to dismiss its claims for we live in a cynical world of confusion. Life is complicated by any other definition. It does not take us long to become disappointed by the circumstances we find ourselves in. And there seems to be more questions than answers at time. However, the Bible makes some bold proclamations about the existence of God. It began with Genesis version of how the world came into existence and it began with the voice of God calling it into reality. The word of God has tremendous power for those who believe.
The Bible is a map that leads a hungry soul straight to the throne of God. God says in his word that if one would find God, he must diligently seek God and believes that God is a rewarder of those that seek him. It began with a belief premise. Open your eyes and behold a world that give evidence to an intelligent mind of design for God's signature is imprinted in every sector of our world. When we look at the food that just so happen to be on earth for our nourishment. Is this mere coincidence? We happen to occupy a planet of whom the atmosphere is perfect for our need to consume oxygen and water. We human beings are made up of its properties and there is a consistency in the theme of our relationship with each other and the planet we live. Again, should we assume this is coincidence?
Once one honestly make an assessment that God indeed does exist and that person really wants to know him then I would greatly encourage seeking hearts to pray to him with diligent and sincere efforts in his direction. Pray and ask God to reveal himself to you. Read the Bible for it is spiritual food for the soul of a man. Pray that God would give you understanding for you are treading upon spiritual ground and that requires heart knowledge as oppose to head knowledge which represents the difference between actually knowing God from just knowing about him. One can have head knowledge and not know Christ. Then one can have heart knowledge which is indicated by an intimacy with God that surpasses all understanding that involves the mind and heart that extends and engages the soul as well.
The Bible says that it is impossible for God to lie. If he says "seek me and you will find me" take him at his word. For this same word is the very catalyst that spoke the world
