Are you alone
when dark turns
into night?
Not really
if there are eyes
that have light.

Climb higher
windy
tall tree
no branches
ridge over yonder
wants to be an eagle
to soar
eat fresh fish
travel.
Crows eat scraps
deal with ridicule
sun warms feathers
change
moral fable.
*
From elsewhere they
came
NL and BC
in Sout' Westers
and Stetsons, etc.
they're part of
the dance.
