A man Famed in ink, quite distinct
Never known to ever expire
An immortal many seem to think
His written word often heard
Repeated by sages through the ages
His poems renowned by all around
His epic sagas bound in history's pages

Who's time is short by eternity's run
Never very far, for mates we are
In my time, written in rhyme
I will try to imply
Our bonding real and the way I feel
