Angel of God, dressed in a robe of pure white
Sent to protect God's children and his creation
Glowing wings and having a radient light.

I sense their presence; they hide from sight
But I have proof they have come to me
Angel of God, dressed in a robe of pure white.

Their wings are powerful, and their halo bright
I feel protected as they wrap me in their wings
Glowing wings and having a radiant light.

We pray for protection, and angels then take flight
To intervene in their duty to save all our lives
Angel of God, dressed in a robe of pure white.

I've seen one before in the darkness of night
Right before a relative passed away in her sleep
Glowing wings and having a radiant light.

I'll trust them to help me win struggles and fights
That I may face throughout the rest of my life
Angel of God, dressed in a robe of pure white
Glowing wings and having a radient light.
