How am i different then you?
I think of all my problems
yet I have it made
compared to all the hurt in the world
I am the lucky one.
I have some many things to worry about
and yet adults have the nerve to say
what do you have to worry about?
Your only 17.
I have social phobia,
OCD, and yet the list goes on and on
the worst one is
I am gay.
Could I be gay?
The realization of this is scary
when you hit puberty
you feel differnet from everyone
All you girlfriends become interested in guys
you don't feel anything special about them
you would rather talk and be with girls
because I feel more comfortable with them
I can better relate with girls
I don't see how I could be with a guy
the thought frankly gross's me out
I like guys don't get me wrong just not in that way
When I look at girls
I feel that same as if a guy was looking at a girl
I have my own type
it's not like I feel attracted to every girl I see
All the hate we go through
murders, assult, and discriminaton
jokes on a daily basis
religious people in our ears shouting "abomination!
All the things that we go through
how could people have the nerve
to say "It's a choice." ?
I woke up one morning and said "Hey, I'm going to be gay!"

TOGETHER
Together we can be like the sunset
In a child's eyes,
We can be like the flaxen field that is dancing in the light,
Together,
Blossoms open to the sun,
Rebirth has begun.
The breeze blows warm upon my skin.
I feel fresh once again.
