Perception of Illegal Immigrants
It is May 2005. At a Union meeting, a sister declares that "foreigners are bad for America", and should be kept out. What are these people doing here anyway? With so many immigrants in the workforce, it is hard for union to win." From this comment there is a consciousness of insecurity in the work place with the person who made this statement, and thinks that immigrants are to blame, immigrants brings new trade skills and education to America to fill jobs that are hard to be filled by Americans.

History of Illegal Immigratation

The first illegal immigrants that came to America came by steam ships as stow always, many of which were European they wanted to escape the war, oppression and poverty. Immigrants came with the hope of having a better life for themselves as well as their families. They created a labor force the women worked in the mills sewing and the men worked in the fields farming. The first Labor Union, the Knights of Labor was formed by 1910 they were over 800,000 unionized workers with political power. This is the beginning of Immigration to the United States today the trend still continues. Immigrants give up everything they have in life and come to the United States to escape poverty, some persecution. The modes of transport maybe different but the motive for entering illegally still remain the same.

During the first half of the 20th century, labor unions continued to grow powerful, as American industry became the most productive in the United States. (International Workers of the World) I WW was a Union which represented all working-class people both men and women of all races the mission of the IWW was to represent all working people.

Migration is a large group of people moving from one continent to another for a specific purpose, where they are a need of manpower they will be a large movement of immigrants. Most Americans have move into industries indoor, they is still a great need for workers who would work on our farms, highways, build building, and landscaping. On the other hand some Americans will consider unemployment whether than taking a low paying job, on the other hand an immigrant will work two- low paying job in order to get a full paycheck. Immigrants workers are paid less hourly wages the American workers, many will work are jobs that are refused by the American worker and will worker over time for the same hourly pay without overtime pay.

These are the years of "great migration" because of the global
