It doesn't happen often, a glimpse every now and then
That feeling that the world is blessed and knowing that is when
Your heart slows down for a moment; you take the time to smile
The breeze of love whispers through your hair and joy leaps like a child

In that instant, you feel lighter and freer than the air
You gaze in your lovers eyes and will for him to share
The insight that just came upon your busy heart and mind
A trickle of crystal waters, heralding a sign.

That cool stream dwells inside us all and calms our heated soul
It ripples over rocks of pain, brings stillness where there's turmoil
In time, those waters take away the jagged edge and peaks
From soothing pool of deepest blue spills forth your inner peace
