I am not convinced that A.D.H.D really exists living where i live in Manchester there are any teenagers that have been diagnosed with this.
A lot of the time i feel it is the parents who take there children to the doctors and say their child may have it.
I believe the parents do this because they get a lot more money with their benefits if they have a child with A.D.H.D they get about an extra 100 pound a week.
i know of people who have done this and have over heard people telling other people to do this all you have to do is tell the doctor that your child is hyperactive an keeps getting in trouble and they will more than likely get diagnosed with A.D.H.D
Parents dont realise that their child will be labeled with this for life and have trouble getting a job also the effects the medication will have on them I believe that ADHD was brought out as an illness so they could sedate naughty kids and push them to one side.
My brother who is now 15 was diagnosed with ADHD about two years ago because he was getting in trouble at school. And the school said he had to be tested my mum who is a learning support teacher for children with special needs tried to fight against this.
so when they said he would have to have medication every day my mum said no way she didnt want him labeled the school said we will take urine tests to make sure he has been taking it and if he hasn't he will not be allowed into school and then my um could be prosecuted for him not being in school.
What happened to human rights this is not right what happened to the teachers who were willing to take the time and try to help their students they dont anymore they cant be bothered so lets just slip them a pill
And just one more thing to add my mum has never claimed any money from this even though she could.
