Your anniversary is just around the corner and you're still stumped on what to give your precious lady. You know she already have your gift all figured out and nicely wrapped in a beautiful packaging and here you are still figuring out what to get her.

Don't fret. Men like you, regardless if they're in a 6-month old relationship or a 10 year marriage, do find themselves in this situation. Perhaps, you can take on these suggestions as your last (if not best) lifelines to squeeze out of her what she wants in a subtle manner, of course.

PHONE A FRIEND

Best friends (especially women) always chit chat about what they want or hope to get as gifts. Squeeze that information from her best friend and you could never go wrong.

KNOW HER FAVORITES

If she is a music junkie get her a CD of her favorite artist or an IPod (if she doesn't have one) or an iTunes gift card. Figure out her passion and take an idea or two from there.

ENGAGE IN AN INNOCENT CONVERSATION

Spend some time chatting with her about something other than basketball or football. When a woman wants something they often drop hints in a normal conversation. All you have to do is be sensitive and alert.

TAKE HER WINDOW SHOPPING

Window shopping is a woman's past time and if you want to know what her heart is set out on then this is the perfect time. She might even be helpful and drop you hints, be keen and watch out for signs.

If you are running out of time or you have done all of the above but still couldn't think of a perfect gift, why not settle for these timeless pieces?

PERFUME. Most women love them and it would be a breeze to know what their favorite scent is.

BAG. Women wouldn't go anywhere without a bag. Plus factor, you gave her something which is of use to her.

JEWELLERY. If you are in a budget, you don't have to really get those gold pieces, find a store that sells jewelleries in semi-precious stones. Surely, they would have beautiful pieces there that might suit your partner's taste.

FLOWERS. Simple but sweet. Oftentimes, it's actually the thought that counts. If budget is not a restriction, you trick to get her out of the house and fill her room with flowers.
