The decision to put a child up for adoption is never an easy one. In fact, it is probably the most difficult decision that a birth parent can make. A person in this position might often seem overwhelmed and blinded by emotions. This is normal although it doesn't always seem or feel that way.
Adoption isn't a bad thing. Giving your child up for adoption does not make you a bad or selfish person. It means that you care enough for your child to make sure that they have the life that they deserve or the things that you are unable to give them.
