Poetry: Pain

"Pain"

Losing the love that i lost and tring to gain
what little respect i have is gone
drowning in my tears of pain
feeling neglected and alone
what will i do and how can i make it the way it was

I stumble on the ground i walk on
I give faith a new name
It's tearing me up inside too the bone
it seems like nothing ever feels the same
I'm calling near to a break down

I had to do what ever it took to make me whole again

Do things i never thought was possible
before the life that i know it becomes insain
But i'm afraid to get close to another and unsociable
I know it's a must

I looked far and wide for someone's hand
Took my chances went the distance
Didn't care who i land
to get my feet on solid ground and what a chance
to see that i will come around

I believe the eye of the behold
To see something in someone that means the same
Only love can conquer pain something i never told
Guess i always felt ashame
Is it true what they say a mirror is a image of what you see

Well i was far from a mirror before i found what love really is
I took my time and saved someone who felt the way that i do
Every since then i think about the time i really do miss
Not being in the right mind and seeing what's real and true
I am only human i do struggle

When i am down and hurting inside i like to think of a time when my folks suffered
and made it through
I believe if you can cope with pain you can get through anything
So that is what i had to do
Sometimes i like to sing
songs that remind me

The pain that is no more a passage in my life's dream
My heart is closer to someone then shut doors
easier to understand then it seem
To help the one's no one adores
And talk about the pain i had to tuggle
