Poetry: Isolation

by David Smith

Created on: August 05, 2008

Outside stood

Where are those days?
You know the ones,
Where time's a blur
And troubles none..?

Go out and play!
(Or ride your bike)
run with the dog
or climb the gate

But feeling thus
A pensive child,
A quiet soul
With manner mild

That loneliness,
came then to me
and outside stood,
my life will be.
