Outside stood
Where are those days?
You know the ones,
Where time's a blur
And troubles none..?
Go out and play!
(Or ride your bike)
run with the dog
or climb the gate
But feeling thus
A pensive child,
A quiet soul
With manner mild
That loneliness,
came then to me
and outside stood,
my life will be.

I watch the sun rise
but I don't feel the warmth
I watch the mist seep across the lawn
kissing each blade
Trapped within my own mind
Isolated from mankind
Fear encompasses my soul
The truth must be told
I cannot face reality
It is
Isolation brings contemptuousness to the surface,
when you do not allow the emptiness to be there.
