This is a real ghost story, a story told by my fourth uncle, a person who was a 'victim' but there is really justice in this world...
It is said that the spirit of the dead will return home within the first week after their death. Some even put white talcum powder on the floor of the entrance. This would prove that the spirit returns when they see footprints on the white powder flooring at the entrance. This was so for my uncle, my first uncle, which is my mother's elder brother. His name was Thomas.
Thomas died when he was very young, perhaps at the age of 21. It was a curse, someone (died now) scolded and used an underwear to strike the car. The car skidded and crashed. My mother and her brother were in the car. Scared to be scolded by parents, Thomas asked my mother not to tell this incident to anyone. Who knows, Thomas suffered internal injuries, and he died.
After his death, my fourth uncle always heard the spirit coming back. At 12 midnight, at their house at 18 miles if I am not wrong, my fourth uncle could hear sound at night. He was so scared. It was the sound of the door being unlatched, opened and next, he could hear footsteps sound. It was the sound of the shoes of Thomas.
The spirit is a very special thing, which we cannot see. But some people have special eyes to see ghosts. My phone rang mysteriously during last year, National Day of Singapore 9 August 2008. (http://www.peacebella.com/200 7/08/09/ghost-or-spirit/) It was really the spirit returned, and it was the existence of Holy Ghost(http://peace-diary.blogs pot.com/2008/05/holy-ghost-hol y-spirit.html). Who brought back the spirit? Jesus. Jesus is the Lord of all things, living and dead(http://www.peacebella.com /2008/07/11/our-glorious-dead/ ) I had prayed at the church, to see Cebest again, and my prayer was granted.
During the month of March, which is the death anniversary of Thomas, my home telephone rang, with the serviceman from Singtel saying that a person by the name of Thomas had called up to say our telephone was not working. The serviceman or technician said my children had called them up for service of my home telephone. I told them nothing of this sort! I asked them for the name of the person who played such a trick on us. He revealed the name of this person who called, saying it was Thomas! My nephew is named Thomas, but he would not have done such a thing, and it was not him. It was until today a mystery who really called, the real 'Thomas' who called Singtel... (http://peace-diary.blogspot.c om/2008/03/battle-of-colours.h tml). Was it a 'ghost' or was it a people? The thing is don't belittle the power of the spirits. They are amazing, really amazing, from what I had encountered!
