Finding work at home jobs

Looking for a way to make big bucks from home? There are work from home offers all over the Internet, usually offering ridiculously high rewards if you'll just sent a small "investment." I have never become involved with any of these companies, so I cannot comment on their legitimacy. However, I do remain skeptical.

One website of which I am not skeptical is employmentcrossing.com This website is great whether you are searching for a work at home opportunity or a bricks-and-mortar business to employee you. The interface is user friendly, with a highly customizable search. You can search in your state, or within a radius of your geographic location. A keyword search allows you to look for specific types of jobs, and you can even set a maximum and minim number of years of experience required. These features help you save time, since you do not have to pour through page after page of job openings that are not right for your qualifications.

Even if you want to work primarily from home, it can be good to look for opportunities "near by". Being able to communicate face-to-face with your employer is a plus, even if you only occasionally stop by the office. That is why employmentcrossing.com is a better way to find work from home jobs than a specialty search.

After I went to employmentcrossing.com, I did a quick search for work from home jobs. (Note that "work from home" is actually listed as a category of jobs. That makes it very easy to search for quality work from home jobs using this website!) I was surprised to see many professional careers listed, rather than the usual data entry and writing gigs. Here are some of the interesting leads I found.

1. Online teacher- work from home teaching K-12

2. Auto casualty examiner- while not the most pleasant-sounding job, it sound like it would pay well.

3. Clinical pharmacist- work with a company that helps people obtain the medications they need online.

4. Finance consulting manager- the salary offered for this one was $125,000, so I am sure it requires extensive credentials.

The bottom line is, if working at home is your dream, you do not need to settle for a boring job or spend your days typing your fingers to the bone blogging. You an use your skills and talents, and you can apply your education. Employmentcrossing.com and other sites like it are out there to help you in your quest to find a fulfilling job you can do in your bathrobe from your bedroom.
