So, it's that all important time of year when your anniversary is coming around. You know she'll be looking for the perfect gift that tells her you've really thought about her and that you really care. Most importantly she'll be wanting to know that you've paid enough attention to her to understand what she does and doesn't like. So what can you get her?

Well discovering the perfect anniversary gift for your special woman really isn't that hard. Listen to the hints she drops. You may think she hasn't told you what she wants, but the chances are she's been dropping hints for months.You just need to be listening.

If you're paying attention to the daily running of her life, you should be able to come up with a great gift all of your own. Look out for things she may be running out of such as body creams and luxury toiletries. Suss out what her favourite brands are and keep her stocked up.

If she likes to read find out what her favourite author is and check for new releases coming out. Pay attention to what she's listening to at the moment. Perhaps you might get some ideas for music to buy her.

Has she started any new hobbies recently or does she have any that she's really into? If so perhaps she'd like gift related to that. Some equipemen perhaps or a day out enjoying her hooby.

If you're having trouble coming up with some ideas here are some top gifts that never-fail.

Flowers and Chocolate. It may be a clich but women really do like them and you can spend as much or as little as you want. However they're not enough on their own - you'll need something to go with them.

Jewellery. However you have to be careful you make the right choice. Look at the jewellery she already has and more importantly the jewellery she actually wears, so she doesn't think you don't understand her tastes. You don't have to spend a fortune either. There's plenty of reasonably priced jewellery out there.

Perfume. Again there's a range of prices to suit a range of budgets. Find out if she has a favourite fragrance, if not choose one yourself. If you like the smell the chances are she'll be happy with it.

Spa package for her to treat herself are another good idea. Better still, arrange to take her out for lunch as part of the deal. She'll love the chance to be pampered for a day.

All it takes is paying a little attention to what she likes and you'll be sure to find her the perfect gift.
