A good estate agent or agency will properly advertise and market your house, find suitable buyers and keep you up-to-date and informed, of all business matters pertaining to your property as and when new information or offers are given. They should only advise you and not try to manipulate your decision, if this happen then this is a sign that you are not dealing with a professional agent or company. It can be stressful enough to sell and show your house to potential buyers, without having to worry about the estate agency/agent and what there doing.

Therefore, the relationship between seller and agent must be an honest and trusting one, you need to find a company you can trust to help sell your property. Keep you up-to-date will everything that is going on with the selling of your home, because if there is little or no honesty then there is added stress which is the last thing you need in this situation . Once you have hired a competent estate agent, then the next thing you need to deal with is actually showing your home to potential buyers. Dressing your home for the sell is a very important process; you need to show off each room to its best. A touch of neutral coloured paint upon the walls, and a recently shampooed carpet, a few matching cushions and some pretty prints can make all the difference to a room. Don't try to pack a room full of furniture; a few pieces are best for example room sizes sell, especially the medium or bigger sized rooms.
