With so many beauty products on the market followed by promises of turning our skin into that of a supermodel, the cash can easily drain our wallets. If this is not bad enough, you get the wonder product home with high expectations hoping to combat the feelings of guilt for just spending x amount in hopes of beautiful renewed skin or perhaps that flawless finish, or maybe it is that lipstick that is going to give you lip injections in a bottle.
As a cosmetic junkie, who has definitely missed her calling & since I should by now have designed my own line of cosmetics and beauty treatments, but to date have not, I will share with you my tried and true hands down must haves, what I won't comment on are those that have not delivered. I have spent $$$$$searching for the best, I have found certain must haves and am always willing to try new but in any event, I hope I can save those who read this blog some time, energy, and most of all $$$$.
Hopefully you will find this information useful the next time you head out for the next latest and greatest beauty product or maybe you are just looking for a specific product such as foundation, cleanser, etc. the following list are my tried and true:
Lets begin with the most important step to any and every beauty regiment regardless if you wear little make-up, full faced make up or Au-natural...............
CLEANSER:
Hands down winner, PURITY by PHILOSOPHY. This cleanser without a doubt the most effective, gentle, and universal on the market. I do not know of any other cleanser that you can rub all over you face and eyes and open your eyes with no burn. TIP: Apply to dry skin, use small amount, start to rub in and then add warm water and continue to cleanse. Your skin will feel AMAZING. I usually purchase thru QVC because they offer great deals but Nordstrom's and Sephora also carry the Philosophy line.
EXFOLIATE:
Here I will offer up two suggestions, one higher end, one mid, both effective. The first is by KATE SOMERVILLE, EXFOLIKATE. Leaves your skin looking new, refreshed, and polished. A bit pricey but worth the pinch in the pocket. My next tried and true recommendation in the exfoliating categories is once again from PHILOSOPHY, it is the HYDRATING OXYGEN PEEL, I use this once a week, after it is applied, you scrape it off with the spatchula supplied and your skin looks and feels incredible.
Moisturizer:
OK ladies and gentlemen too, yet again I turn to PHILOSOPHY, no, I do not get paid from the company for the endorsements although
