We can all agree that global warming is truly a serious issue for every living thing on Earth. Each of us can clearly see the effects of global warming. And yet, the current Administration within the Government of the United States of America is doing almost nothing to save the environment of the World's people and the plants and animals that live on it.
As a matter of fact, our current Republican President George Bush and the other elected Republican Politicians within the Congress of the United States of America is doing absolutely nothing to solve those truly other serious issues like illegal immigration, the multinational corporation extortion of "We People," the importation and the sales of illegal drugs and other harmful products and the ever rising crime rate and the ever rising National Debt.
In order to stay healthy and alive people need honest employment and a safe environment in which to live. Do you have a job that allows you to earn enough money so that you can pay your bills? How safe are you within your neighborhood or even within your own home?
In my opinion, each and every "Green Friendly" bill passed into law will solve a whole lot of those other important above issues. Ten of thousands of new jobs will be created for the construction of machines that create energy from the Sun, wind and the water on our Earth. Hydrogen powered and/or fuel cell powered modes of transportation will most certainly reduce the use of petroleum products and other fossil fuels like coal and natural gas.
As a matter of fact, agricultural products should be only grown for the purpose of feeding animals and people, not the production of bio-fuels. I wonder, how many more square miles of the rain forest within South America will be destroyed because of a group of greedy farmers have a contract with a multinational oil company?
President Bush and the rest of his Republican Comrades just want to destroy more of our environment by allowing off-shore drilling off the coast of Florida. Well, those oil companies already purchased tens of thousands square miles of off-shore leases from the Government and they haven't even attempted to drill for additional oil on those sites, even though oil does exist in those places. So too, there are tens of billions of cubic feet of natural gas under the State of Oklahoma that has yet to be connected to our Nation's pipelines.
Like it or not, to continue to support the owners and the controllers of those multinational corporations and also support the Members of the Republican Party is nothing more than madness. Who will you vote for in 2008? More important, who will you vote out of Public Office in 2008?
