Poetry: Why I love you

How can love really be defined?
Is it controlled by your very own mind?
What creates this feeling inside?
From where does it exist and reside?
Is it the little things that catch your eye?
Is it something they do to make you sigh?
Is it the scent of their body or even their hair?
Is it their innocence that makes you want to care?
Is it the way they look deeply into your eyes

And capture your heart, almost hypnotise
Do they make you weak at the knees?
When they bat their eyes and say pretty please
Do butterflies flutter when they are around?
Or does your beating heart rapidly pound
When they gently touch your skin
Does your body tingle from within?
Is it their sweet and child like ways?
Or is how they interact, how one plays
Or is it the way they softly bite their lip
Knowing their thoughts makes your heart flip
Do they send shivers down your spine?
Teasing you with a very fine line
Do they make you squirm with delight?
Do you try to resist, temptations you fight
Is it the way they whisper sweet nothings in your ear?
Penetrating vibrations reaching your soul so dear
Or is it the way they peacefully sleep?
Like and angel of heaven so still not a peep
Love is something you can not see
It is only of the heart that it can be
To define this feeling is very complex
But it is all knowing and just a reflex
Tis the heart that controls the ultimate choice made
You don't chose if it comes or fades
It is only this feeling that one can't some up
And you never no when it will erupt
Either way love causes joy and pain
Make you delirious and sometime insane
But whatever it brings their imprint on your heart will stay
Of how all those feelings encompassed you in some way
Those special moment you felt so close and what you shared
The feeling unconditional love so unique and so rare.

    Murmur
    Sweet words
    Mean nothing;
    Forever,
    Always
    Good pain,
    Always
    Been the same.

    I feel you
    Growin closer,
    I feel you
    Holding out.
