The website saltwater fish.com is a very colorful one at first glance. The website offers hundreds of salt-water fish for sale. Each fish has it's owe link when you click on it you are given a brief description of the fish and of course, a photo. The information includes the amount of care required, size, behavior, origin, diet, size tank and such. Back on the main page listed next to each fish is their size, price and of course the order button.
The website also sells coral, reefs, live sand and live rock. Each of these items is listed the same way as the fish with the description, size or amount, price and add button. They sell numerous brands of products live as Coral Life, Kent, Salifert and Seachem.
In addition to their long list of aquarium supplies, they sell a couple of dozen different books from "The Algae Problem Solving Guide" to the "Ultimate Marine Aquariums" book.
They sell chillers, filters, heaters, lighting, magnets, food and miscellaneous items as well. They carry a complete line of testing equipment by Red Sea as well. For an online aquarium store, they sell it all.
Saltwaterfish.com also has a sale page or as they call it the "Value Menu", where they list fish that are on sale. Currently they have sixteen fish on sale ranging in price from $4.99 to $9.99. The website leads me to believe that the fish on sale change weekly. Which is good if you're looking for a $100.00 fish and yes, they sell them and ones that cost even more?
The specials section is the sale section for the supplies. If you become a member, you will receive even ore sales plus extra bonuses such as a Clown fish for only $8.99 more than half off the original price.
For your fishes safety the website has a sixty-second video on the acclimation process, which is very beneficial especially if you are new to the world of aquariums and just dropped a few hundred dollars on fish. It's nice to know how to safely get them from their bag to their new home.
Unlike the majority of websites that sell a live animal this site has a message board with over two million questions and answers on it. It's a great resource for any fish owner looking for information.
Overall, Saltwaterfish.com is an attractive and informative website. They belong to the BBB Better Business Bureau of online businesses and have several testimonials from happy customers.
